Choosing a prescribing module

The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences offers a range of flexible prescribing modules at degree and masters level, tailored to meeting professional body standards (i.e. Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)) as well as local workforce development needs. The modules can be accessed as standalone modules or can be used as part of a degree or masters programme.

Prescribing modules are delivered by an experienced teaching team with expertise in prescribing, from wide multi-disciplinary professional backgrounds including acute and primary care nursing, and pharmacy. To ensure appropriate support, you will be linked to a discipline-specific personal tutor. Delivery is according to demand across the whole of the South West Peninsula, meeting workforce development needs and geographical challenges.
