International Women's Day: A Plymouth Conversation
Building on last year’s IWD Plymouth Conversation where we discussed how we can help younger women and girls achieve their ambitions; challenge conscious and unconscious bias; call for gender-balanced leadership; and create inclusive flexible cultures in Plymouth, this year we are embracing the IWD theme of ‘Be Bold for Change’ in Plymouth.
We want to take action that will drive positive change for women in Plymouth by addressing how we can advance and unleash our motivation for leading bold pragmatic action to accelerate gender parity in our organisations.
Led by Alison Theaker of The Spark, this workshop will bring out the best in your leadership and your team to embrace change. By understanding the influential frameworks of motivation you will be able to adapt your leadership and teamwork styles to create an energetic and effective work environment for you and your team. We will also look at effective delegation techniques, resistance to change, and how to deal with conflict and difficult conversations.
This workshop is ideal for all women leading small or large teams across the city, and for women who are looking to enhance their boldness, motivation, and leadership skills.
