Thinking about progression to the University of Plymouth? We’d love to have you and support you every step of the way. Below you’ll find a simple step-by-step guide which will help you with this transition.

The deadline to secure your place with us is 31 January 2025. However the Admissions team will accept late applications if places are still available up until the beginning of the autumn term.

Can’t make an open day?

Don’t worry, why not take a virtual tour of our Plymouth campus and explore our accommodation, facilities and more.

You'll get to explore the university campus, see the spaces in which you’ll be studying and listen to lectures, as well as having the opportunity to see your course's facilities. It may not feel like it would make a difference, but it allows you to see the spaces and imagine yourself studying there.

Step 2: Apply

1. Submit your request

Complete, sign and submit your progression form to your HE Office by 31 January 2025. Please remember to use your Plymouth email account, ensuring your tutor has also signed the form.

2. We are notified

Your partner institution will notify us of your request to progress onto a University of Plymouth course.

3. Your offer to study

We will send an offer to study to your home or correspondence address.

4. Confirmation

Accept or decline your offer by 1 April 2025. Email Admissions to confirm: admissions@plymouth.ac.uk
