The University of Plymouth has strong links to a local community that values its tradition with the armed forces. We have partnered with a number of armed forces organisations to bring together our expertise and resources to enhance knowledge and understanding in key areas of mutual interest. We provide opportunities for students and researchers to engage positively with the armed forces.
University of Plymouth is a signatory to the

Plymouth Armed Forces Community & Plymouth Armed Forces Corporate Covenants

The University of Plymouth is represented by Professor Richard Yarwood. In both cases University of Plymouth works with partners to fulfil the national and local aims of the Armed Forces Covenant to support members of the armed forces and their families. In this regard we invite feedback from the Service community and others on how we are doing, as necessary.
