“There is a vibrancy that surrounds the University of Plymouth. Located in a distinctly urban environment, the underpinnings of history resonate in a truly modern space. For me, the teaching practices have been the most fulfilling parts of the course and the tutor groups are great, well organised and lively – there is a real sense of shared understanding and peer support, which is vital. In addition to this, the teaching placements have offered clarity regarding the schools in which I would wish to work.
Establish a support network. Family and friends are great, but it may help to network with your academic peers – they understand, firsthand, what you are experiencing. The time will pass very quickly – revel in your own successful development, enjoy the process and very good luck!”
