Street Law is a concept that originated in the USA in the 1970’s to provide a service to particular groups within a community, as well as an educational opportunity for students.
Using the legal expertise they have gained through their studies and independent research, students prepare and give interactive presentations to, or create informative materials for groups about a particular area of law.
Through this project students inform and empower local people for the benefit of the wider community.
