We require applicants to have completed three Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) qualifications when obtained at the conclusion of the pre-University course (years XII and XIII). 

For applicants who do not meet the above requirements, there are foundation options available via the University of Plymouth and Plymouth University International College (PUIC).


We require applicants to hold either a professional degree or a bachelor special degree when awarded after four years of study with the following classification:

75% 3.70 1st
60% 3.30 2:1
55% 3.00 2:2

English language

A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required or successful completion of one of the University of Plymouth's pre-sessional English Language courses
