International scholarships

To reward outstanding achievement the University of Plymouth offers scholarship schemes to help towards funding your studies. You could get up to 50% off your tuition fees in your first year.
 

Entry requirements

Undergraduate
We require applicants to have completed the General Secondary School Certificate (‘Shahadat Al-Thanawaya Al-Aama’) and an international foundation year or equivalent. Our partner college on campus, University of Plymouth International College (UPIC), offers a wide variety of foundation courses.
Postgraduate
We require applicants to have completed the البكالوريوس bachelor degree from a recognised institution with the following degree classification:
Kuwaiti degree classification CGPA out of 4.00 Kuwaiti degree classification Alternative name UK degree equivalent
3.67 - 4.00 Distinction 1st
3.01 - 3.66 Very good 2:1
2.60 - 3.00 Very good 2:2
 
English language
A recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required or successful completion of one of the University of Plymouth's pre-sessional English language courses.
