The University of Plymouth has signed a new partnership to offer undergraduate courses at one of Switzerland’s leading business schools.

The collaboration with the International University in Geneva (IUG) will enable students to enrol on the BSc (Hons) Business Management programme created in Plymouth.

When they graduate, students will be awarded two degrees and have the opportunity to access postgraduate studies at either institution.

The IUG has been ranked in the top 10 business schools in Switzerland by EDUNIVESAL and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).

It delivers a range of postgraduate and undergraduate programmes to students from all over the world and has been offering Doctorates in Business Administration and Public Administration – delivered by the Plymouth Graduate School of Management – for the last five years.

Eric Willumsen, Director and founding partner of the IUG, said:

“This is a very exciting development for us. We are continuing to grow and develop our programmes through international partnerships and we are delighted to be working with a top-class UK university.”

Professor John Swarbrooke, Associate Dean – International (Plymouth Global) at the University of Plymouth, added:

“Extending our network globally is very important for us. We are seeking to work with leading institutions around the world and establishing a partnership with IUG is very good news for our business students in both countries.”
