Signal processing and data science

Nanotechnology and Electronics Research Group research theme

Research in this theme is concerned with the development and applications of signal processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to real-world problems in healthcare, communications, and audio. The main areas of our research are:

  • medical applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • signal processing and coding for efficient and secure storage and communications
  • intelligent audio signal analysis (AI in music mixing and sound design)
  • medical applications of signal processing
  • multimedia signal processing
  • power electronics applications of signal processing
  • intelligent medical systems design and evaluation.
