Patients and students working together - 14 July 2016

As a ‘short hand’ we use the word ‘patient’ to mean health and social care service users, carers (including parents), and members of the public with an interest in improving health and wellbeing.

This conference was a chance to discuss how students and patients can work and learn together, and how they can innovate to improve practice.

Sharing learning about developing Patient Participation Groups - 16 July 2015

Patient Participation Groups (PPG) have a key role to play as they help ensure that patients and carers can influence their local care services.

This conference marked the end of the project and reported on project outcomes and the benefits of linking university nursing students to PPGs.
