Research interests

A quantitative analyst experienced in a wide range of multivariate and mixed effects modelling techniques, my research has focused on the use of large and complex datasets to assess the socio-economic characteristics and public service needs of local populations and the extent to which those needs are being met. Recent work has focused on health, education and children’s services, including as technical lead on the development of the MHCLG children’s services resource allocation model for English local authorities and contributing key evidential chapters to the Chief Medical Officer’s recent annual report on Coastal Health.
