Mr Chris Hayward

Role
Chris began working in clinical trials in 2000, working for a commercial Clinical Research Organisation managing Phase I/II trials of Investigational Medicinal Products.
In 2008 he joined a team at Plymouth University, coordinating the non-commercial CUPID trial (ISRCTN62942668), before moving into the UKCRC-registered Peninsula Clinical Trials Unit at Plymouth University (PenCTU) in 2010. At PenCTU, Chris managed a variety of trials including Phase III CTIMPs, non-CTIMPs, pilot trials, feasibility studies and trials of complex interventions.
After a brief spell working for University of Exeter, Chris re-joined PenCTU as Quality Assurance Manager in January 2017.
Chris is experienced in the practical, risk-based application of GCP standards and regulatory requirements and has prepared for and participated in several regulatory inspections.
