Qualifications

BA first class honours in Social Policy and Administration from Portsmouth Polytechnic

PhD in Social Science from University of Manchester.

Daniel Gilling has worked at the University of Plymouth since 1991, having previously been employed as a lecturer at Manchester Polytechnic, and having worked as a research student and research assistant at the University of Manchester.
