Miss Donna Vascott

Research Manager at SERIO

Donna has over 12 years of research expertise, working within a range of disciplines from medicine and dentistry to community business. Donna joined SERIO in 2014 and has managed numerous mixed-methods research projects, requiring proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative methods and analysis. As such, she is highly capable of delivering complex projects on time and to budget.

Donna is SERIO’s lead on social return on investment, with expertise in measuring social and environmental value which is not ordinarily reflected in conventional financial accounting. She is also one of SERIO’s most experienced evidence reviewers and has led on a number of health-related projects including the NICE oral health promotion messages systematic review.

Donna has an MSc in Psychological Research Methods, first class honours degree in Psychology, and formal training in conducting social return on investment and systematic reviews. Before joining SERIO, Donna worked for the Clinical Neurology Research Group in the University of Plymouth’s Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, specialising in reviewing outcome measures used in clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease. Prior to this, she worked in the private sector in London as a recruitment specialist.
