These relate directly to the two new MA programmes at the University of Plymouth
 - MA 'Photography and the Land' and 'Photogra[phy and the Book'. 

Mid-late nineteenth century, and contemporary, landscape photography.
In particular early topographic, new topogarphic and post new-topographic landscape photography.

Research interests

'The Rockfalls of Normandy'- working with Pole-Image Haute Normandie on a study of the coastal landscape of the region.

'The Sunderland Coast' - working with the University of Sunderland on a study of the post-industrial landscape of the area.

'Shiermonnikoog'- working with Noorderlicht, Groningen on a study of the islands of the Waddenzee.

'Lyme Bay'- a topographical study of the cliffs and coastal landscape of Lyme Bay.

'Crear '-an artist in resdidence (2002-2008) at Crear in West Argyll making a study of the coastal landscape of the area.
