As a member ofthe Employability team, I am responsible for the delivery and development of acomprehensive, customer focused, integrated, and progressive service forEmployability activities within the University. My primary role is for providing a positive student experience,supporting students throughout their journey, from enquiry to alumni throughthe Plymouth Award.

Many PlymouthUniversity students already make significant contributions to the life of theUniversity and the communities in which they live and work. The Plymouth Awardis one way of showing how valuable these contributions are andhighlighting the learning and personal growth students gain fromthese activities.


Over 10 yearsexperience in Higher Education, and a wealth of hands on experience withincommunity and voluntary sector.  Igraduated in 2010 with a 2:1 in Youth and Community work degree.

It is my passionfor community engagement and life wide learning that I hope to continuedeveloping in my working life and encouraged me to take on the role as trusteeof Plymouth Guild in 2012.

Well known inPlymouth for staging many city-wide events, including community sports days,tea dances for elderly residents and a campaign to encourage people to swapplastic carrier bags for more environmentally-friendly alternatives.
