Research interests

I am broadly interested in the ecology of coastal, estuarine and marine systems. I am currently working on ecological engineering of artificial structures (e.g., breakwaters, seawalls) in Plymouth Sound to enrich native biological communities. I am also very interested in distribution patterns of non-native species on artificial structures at the local and regional scales. Throughout my training, I have taken interest in taxonomy of marine invertebrates with particular interest in non-native species.
