Planning & Analytics

Role

Responsible for managing the planning and insight activity within the Planning & Analytics Office (PAO) and providing expert advice on appropriate actions to support the strategic development of the University. This includes:

  • management and coordination of the University Planning Cycle and institutional research;
  • provision of expert advice and insight in relation to the University’s applicants, students and graduates, to support the University’s student recruitment and experience activity, informed by the analysis and interpretation of student surveys;
  • provision of expert advice and insight in relation to the University’s markets, competitors and external  operating environment, to support the University’s student recruitment and experience activity, informed by the analysis and interpretation of external factors and trends impacting the University and wider sector;
  • management and coordination of the University's Risk Registers and related risk and business continuity policies and processes;
  • line management of planning and insight focused staff in the Planning & Analytics Office.
