Research interests

My research centres on people’s access to support and healthcare, with a particular focus on pathways to appropriate needs-based support in marginalised groups.

Much of my applied research experience comes from my work within the charity sector, including five years at Women’s Aid, where I researched domestic violence and abuse. This covered a wide range of features, from identification and coordination of response, through to the provision of needs-based support and exploring methods of prevention. I also have experience on a range of other socio-economic projects through my time working with SERIO (University of Plymouth).

I employ a range of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies in my research, including some experience of systematic reviews, and cost-benefit analyses.
