My role is to provide Project Management for Ehealth Productivity and Innovation in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly; known as EPIC for short.  The project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and aims to establish an innovation ecosystem that develops, in many cases from the bottom up, improved Ehealth Innovation that is sustainable and leads to economic growth for SME's based in  Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. 

The project is keen to engage with any individual, organisation or company that wishes to support this aspiration and could potentially contribute to, or benefit from, the project.  As well as supporting the engagement of the health and social care sectors stakeholders (patients, carers, health and social care professionals and students etc) the project has a £600,000 Grant fund for businesses seeking to develop Ehealth products and services,

Qualifications held are MBA, BSc (Hons)

My background has primarily been working within the HEI sector.  This I have done over the last 16 years in a variety of roles focussed on tasks such as marketing, CPD, innovation, commercialisation, community and business engagement and research .  Prior to April 2013 I worked for 7 years within the Faculty of Health at Plymouth University before joining the Research and Innovation directorate firstly supporting the Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry before changing to support the Faculty of Business in 2015. 

From May 2017 I have taken on my current role of Project Manager for the EPIC project.
