PhD Researcher / Associate Lecturer
I am a PhD researcher with the Maritime and Logistics, Business and Policy (MLBP) group at the Institute for Social Policy and Enterprise Research (iSPER), Plymouth University. My research is on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Supply Chain Financial Performance.
I have a Masters in Oil and Gas Accounting from Glasgow Caledonian University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology from Plymouth University and a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Bayero University Kano.
My career spans trade, finance, banking, management, business development, consultancy, academia and research across both public and private sectors. I started my career at Nigeria Exports Processing Zones Authority in 2007 as an Accountant, from where I moved to Guaranty Trust Bank in 2008 as an Executive Trainee and rose to the position of Assistant Banking Officer, where I resigned to pursue a Master Degree. I joined a maritime consultancy firm, Asta-Barka as an Assistant General Manager in 2012.
