Experience

  • Coastal engineering, physical oceanography, fluid dynamics, hydrodynamics.
  • Numerical modelling: SWAN, ROMS, COAWST, WaveWatchIII, WQMAP, CORMIX, OCCAM, YAXUM3D,parallel modelling on High-Performance computers.
  • Data analysis: tide gauges, altimetry, wind and wave fields.
  • Hydrodynamics and pollution dispersion modelling in estuary and marine zones, water quality modelling linked with activities of oil production-exploration.
  • Measuring,analysis and interpretation of ADCP data in shallow waters.

 

Achievements

  • Software domain: Fortran90, MatLab, Tecplot, ArcGIS, Linux, Latex, scientific processing software (e.g. Netcdf, Hdf5, Grib & Grib2), Microsoft Office.
  • Commercial software: WQMAP - GIS based model, CORMIX: water quality models. Both models applied to the Sonda de Campeche, México.
