Teaching

Teaching interests

I enjoy teaching across all of our occupational therapy programmes, however my main teaching commitments are with the MSc Occupational Therapy Pre-registration programme. We use a wide range of teaching and learning methods and I am particularly interested in experiential education, problem based learning and placements in emerging practice settings. I am also a manual handling trainer.

Staff serving as external examiners

I was an external examiner for the Postgraduate Vocational Rehabilitation programmes at Sheffield Hallam University from 2011 - 2015. I was also a critical friend on their programme approval panel in 2008.
