My role at the University of Plymouth focuses on teaching mainly the BSc Occupational Therapy programme. I have occasional input with the MSc pre-registration Occupational Therapy students and other professions such as Physiotherapy. I am a member of the placements team which requires provision pf support to coordinate, educate and work towards ensuring that all of our students experience a range of clinical placements. I am the lead member of staff for the first year Occupational Therapy students. My clinical experience has been varied within a number of different physical settings in London and the South West. I specialised in the area of neurological rehabilitation for a number of years. I have also worked in managerial roles within the NHS in the South West of England.

I am HCPC registered. I am a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists and the Specialist Section of Neurological Practice.

I am currently engaged in MSc level study in the Advanced Professional Practice in Occupational Therapy programme. I have completed all of the modules related to this apart from the dissertation which commences in December 2017.
