to provide expert support for cartography and mapping, and contribute to the support for GIS and web resources, working as part of the School GeoMapping Unit. The GeoMapping Unit (see http://plymouth.libguides.com/maps for more details) is part of the School of Geography Earth and Environmental Sciences. It supports and promotes the use of digital and conventional mapping, geospatial data, satellite imagery and GIS for staff and students, primarily within SoGEES, but also to the wider University. Teaching interests
I currently contribute to the teaching on several undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the Geography and Environmental subject areas. The most significant element is the introduction of year one geographers/earth scientists to desktop mapping and poster design and production.
