Roles on external bodies
My primary research interest is in developing statistical methodology with a focus on the application to medicine, clinical trials, observational studies and evidence synthesis. Specific areas include,
- Bayesian inference
- Modelling and analysis of infectious diseases (including Cowpox virus, healthcare-associated infection)
- Meta-analysis and systematic reviews
- Multivariate meta-analysis (including multiple outcomes, multiple treatments and diagnostic tests)
- Survival analysis
Current PhD students:
L. Sorrell: Modelling multivariate survival endpoints with application to kidney transplantation (Director of Studies)
Z. Al-Kaabawi: Hierarchical Bayesian models for spatial point processes with application to road traffic accidents (Director of Studies)
