Welcome to the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Plymouth. You are starting on a fascinating intellectual and professional journey and you will need to stay focused and work hard, but should also aim to enjoy your studies and make the most of your time as a member of the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the University.

Modules ADN203 The Biological and Therapeutic Basic for Adult Nursing Care and ADN204 Skills and Practice for Adult Nursing Care will commence from Tuesday 12 September 2017.  Once you have completed on line enrolment you will be able to access the timetable for these modules.  Details relating to timetabling can be found on the University website on the timetable tile.

Speaker:  Occupational Health nurses

Your individual appointment time will be available on Monday 18 September.  It is important that you attend your appointment as this is a condition to attending your placement area.  Please ensure you bring a record of any immunisations you may have had to your first appointment. It is possible your first inoculation may take place at this appointment.  There will be a series of follow-up appointments for inoculations throughout the first term and you will receive e-mail notification of these.

If you have a needle phobia please advise occupational health before you start.  Please use their e-mail address to provide this information. You will need to quote your name, date of birth and programme in any e-mail.
