Welcome to the School of Health Professions where we pride ourselves in the quality and professionalism of our academic offer and where our programmes are designed to meet the demands of contemporary health and social care practice. As you begin your professional journey we will encourage you reach your full potential and achieve excellence in your chosen discipline. We also want you to enjoy your time with us and hope that you will embrace some of the social and recreational opportunities that are such an important aspect of university life.

From the Induction timetable you will see that many activities have been arranged for you and it is important that you attend all of these. These activities will help familiarise you with your chosen programme, introduce you to the main city centre university campus and also signpost some of the support services available to you.

  • Enrol online
  • Upload a photograph
Please bring your passport and a copy of your passport to the Administration session together with any certificates or documentation requested by Admissions.

This will enable us to issue your University card which you will need to access the University of Plymouth Library and Student Union.

Welcome Party


The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences invites you to attend a very special Welcome Party in the Graduation Marquee on Plymouth Hoe:

19.15 – 21.45*

The Welcome Party is your opportunity to meet informally with other students new to the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences, as well as some current students and your academic staff.

Additionally, the evening includes a complimentary welcome drink, nibbles, entertainment and a raffle for all attendees with a £100 of Amazon vouchers to be won on the night.

*Arrive at the Graduation Marquee on Plymouth Hoe for 19:15, or meet on top of the Student Union at 18:45 to be accompanied to the venue.

Please note that this event is invitation only, no additional guests will be allowed entry to the venue.
