Student wellbeing support

Student Wellbeing Officers are part of the Student Wellbeing Services. Louise, Nadine and Marina offer 1-1 sessions focused on identifying and implementing practical solutions to issues affecting your academic and university life.

Typical examples include:

  • managing exam stress
  • managing anxiety and panic    
  • adapting to change
  • managing socialisation/isolation
  • establishing routines and independent living
  • support through unexpected life events
  • and much more…

Our aim is to offer you a confidential safe space and work together with you to devise a plan of support. Wellbeing appointments offer you between one and three, 45 minute sessions depending on your individual circumstances. Many students find a single appointment is often enough to talk and explore coping strategies to support your mood and develop skills to take forward with you.
