Student wellbeing support
Student wellbeing officers are part of the Student Counselling and Personal Development Service. Hannah and Marina offer 1-1 sessions focused on identifying and implementing practical solutions to issues affecting your academic and university life.
Typical examples include:
- managing exam stress
- managing anxiety and panic
- adapting to change
- managing socialisation/isolation
- establishing routines and independent living
- support through unexpected life events
- and much more…
Our aim is to offer you a confidential safe space and work together with you to devise a plan of support. Wellbeing appointments offer you between one and three, 45-minute sessions depending on your individual circumstances. Many students find a single appointment is often enough to talk and explore coping strategies to support your mood and develop skills to take forward with you.
