Our Digital Writing Cafe

Our Digital Writing Cafe is a welcoming space where you can explore techniques and strategies to improve as a writer working with our trained student writing mentors.
When you join the Writing Cafe our host will assign you to a breakout room. You can think of this as a table at the Writing Cafe on campus. A writing mentor will be sitting there ready to talk to you with their cup of coffee. All you will need to do is share your screen so they can see your writing and you can start the conversation.

Our Writing Cafe in the Library

As well as serving great coffee and locally sourced food, The Writing Cafe is a welcoming space where you can explore techniques and strategies to improve as a writer.
Building on our innovative work in developing skills for writing, the Writing Cafe is a unique and creative space where staff and students are welcome to come and have a conversation with a member of the Student Learning team and work with one of our trained student Writing Mentors.
The Writing Cafe takes place in the Library Cafe, located on the 1st floor of the Charles Seale-Hayne Library.
