Exam timetables

Arriving at your exam

You will be admitted into your examination room 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, if you arrive late you will not be allowed to enter the room if the examination has been in progress for more than 30 minutes.

If you arrive late, and are permitted to sit your examination (within 30 minutes of the start), you will not be given extra time.

You are not allowed to leave the examination venue within the first 30 minutes of your exam.

Seating plans

We'll provide you with a seating plan at the entrance of each exam room to show the seating layout.

In the main Plymouth exam venues (Pavilions, Nancy Astor Sports Hall and Rolle Marquee), you'll have an allocated seat - where you must sit.

If you've been assessed with MAPs (modified assessment provisions), you won't have a seat allocated in the main venue. Please note that if you attend the main venue, we'll send you to your designated MAP venue to complete your exam.

Leaving your exam

You will not be allowed to leave the examination room in the final 15 minutes.

Anyone who leaves the examination room without the permission of an invigilator will be deemed to have finished the examination and will not be re-admitted.

If you arrive at the wrong examination room you'll be advised where and when your exam is taking place and you'll be sent to the correct venue.
