Images of Research 2018 competition

Victoria Buswell – Bringing back black bees

The University’s Doctoral College invited postgraduate research students to submit an eye-catching photographic image, and interpretation for the first Images of Research competition.

The aim is to capture the true essence of their research through a powerful image, which will then be exhibited to the public, for the duration of the University’s Research Festival, showcasing the quality and wide ranging research taking place at the University of Plymouth.

On 22 January 2018 we hosted the Images of Research competition for postgraduate research students. Thirty images and their descriptions were submitted which represented all Faculty’s at the University of Plymouth.  We are delighted to showcase all of the images through our Exhibition Gallery.

2018 competition winners:

Best image: Frazer Underwood, School of Nursing and Midwifery
