What our applicants say

We believe that visiting us is the best way to find out what it's like to be part of our institution – and so do the applicants who visit us.

"After attending an applicant day for ocean science at Plymouth, there was no way I could consider choosing anywhere else! From the moment I stepped on campus I was greeted by helpful and supportive staff and students who made me feel incredibly welcome."

"The day was well structured, so I could attend all the sessions I wanted, and had plenty of time for talking with academics and current students."

"It was a real eye-opener, and talking to the students gave me a great perspective into the Plymouth lifestyle."

"I thought it was the best I had been to compared with other universities. I was extremely impressed with the entire day, and because of that I made the University of Plymouth my first choice."

"The day was well organised and covered everything I needed to know in order to help me make my decision."

"To have the chance to visit the University again was really useful, as it gave me the confidence that I had made the right decision in choosing Plymouth as my firm choice. I have completely fallen in love with both the city and the University, and cannot imagine completing my degree anywhere else."

"It was possibly the best applicant day I've been to. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable."

"I found it very useful that there were so many opportunities to ask questions, and that a combination of staff and students were on hand to help."
