George Naiwo - Basketball

Course: FdSc Strength Conditioning and Sports Coaching

From a young age George fell in love with basketball and aimed to study at Plymouth University and play with a well known basketball club.

George hopes to use his degree to supporting athletes and develop their skills as individuals through strength and conditioning which will increase their chances of getting a job.

Auryn Macmillan - Basketball

Course: MSc Psychological Research Methods

Auryn grew up in Melbourne, Australia where he won a basketball scholarship as a teenager.

Auryn only started playing basketball at the age of 16 which shows you don't have to start playing at a young age to succeed. Auryn has now been signed to a club back in Australia and will continue to succeed thanks to the help of the University of Plymouth.

Benjamin Riddle - Basketball

Course: FdSc Strength Conditioning and Sports Coaching

Ben discovered basketball at the age of 11 and soon fell in love, wanting to coach players to the top of their game. At the age of 18 Ben became the youngest coach within the entire British Basketball League (BBL).

Originally from Plymouth, Ben had his sights set on Plymouth University for it's excellent facilities and partnerships.
