Arrival and registration

The undergraduate open day runs from 9:00–15:30.
On arrival to the campus, please collect your goody bag and register your attendance with a member of the registration team in the Roland Levinsky Building . The registration team will talk you through the programme for the day and answer any questions you may have. We strongly advise that you check the times of the talks and subject sessions that you are interested in, as some sessions are only run once.

Additional notices:

  • University cafes accept card payment only

  • Parking on campus is only for pre-arranged blue badge holders

  • No dogs (except service dogs) are allowed in the University buildings

Plan your day

To help you plan your day in advance we will send you a digital copy of the programme one week before the event via email. 
A full version of the programme (either digital or printed) will also be available for you upon registration when you arrive in the Roland Levinsky Building for your open day.

Parking and travel information

There are plenty of car parks in the city centre within walking distance of the University.
There are also various park and ride locations on the outskirts of the city that can be used as an alternative to the central car parks.
Unfortunately there is no parking on our campus but if you require blue badge parking, please contact studentrecruitment@plymouth.ac.uk to arrange this.

Travel by bus

As part of a partnership with Plymouth Citybus we are offering the opportunity to park and ride for free at the George Park and Ride Site (PL6 7HB) for people that hold an invitation to our open day. Please use the 42C service direct from the George Park and Ride to the University of Plymouth. This service operates every 30 minutes. 
All you need to do is show your invitation to the open day to the driver on the date in question and this will grant you access to the 42C service. This offer is valid for the invitation holder, and any additional passengers will be charged accordingly a single ticket is £2, a day ticket £5.50 adult and £4.20 Child (Up to age of 18).

Your chance to win some prizes

Following our undergraduate open days we send out surveys to all students and their guests to gain valuable feedback on the events. To say thank you for taking the time to complete the surveys we enter all participants into a prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher for students and a £50 Waterstones voucher for parents.

Event photography and video

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth's public events may be attended by University photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in University online and offline marketing and promotional materials, for example webpages, brochures or leaflets. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
