This seminar marks International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia today (17 May).
Hosted by the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences and the LGBT Forum, informative and empowering talks will be given by Erin King, Co-founder of Not Alone Plymouth – ‘Beyond Peer Support: How Alliances Empowered a Community’ and Andrew Grace, Equality & Diversity Specialist – ‘A Lifetime of Homophobia: Why Alliances Matter’.
To celebrate the launch of the University of Plymouth LGBT Allies network, the LGBT Forum will be hosting a free lunch with a free rainbow lanyard for all those who sign up as an ally.
