The course is suitable for anyone who has started teaching Core Maths this academic year, or for teachers who are interested in finding out more prior to introducing and teaching Core Maths. It aims to:

  • provide teachers with an opportunity to explore the differences and similarities in teaching and learning between Core Maths and other Maths courses
  • give teachers time to work on a variety of problems
  • give information about the different specifications and forms of assessment
  • look at how Core Maths can be incorporated and developed within their department.

The course is free to teachers in state funded schools. It will start at 10:00 with arrival and registration at 09:45.

Register using the online form before the closing date of Monday 22 October or email for more information.
