This CPD event aims to summarise diagnosis and management techniques for hypomineralised primary and permanent molars.

The objectives are to provide participants with the evidence base to diagnose hypomineralised molars and to promote confidence in the management of hypomineralised molars.

The event will be led by Associate Professor Nicky Kilpatrick BDS PhD FDS RCPS FRACDS (Paeds).

Nicky has over 20 years of paediatric dental experience in clinical practice, teaching and research. Following completion of her specialist training in the UK, she moved to Australia where, following three years at the University of Sydney she took up the post of Director of Dentistry at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, a position she held for ten years. Following three years back in the UK, she returned to Melbourne last year where, in addition to working in specialist private practice, she is Senior Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and Director of the Melbourne Cleft Service. She has over 80 publications and lectures regularly around the world.
