From film showcases to mixed media installations, this exhibition by second year Fine Art students from Plymouth University revolves around the themes of emergence and sound and draws inspiration from the work of British artist, Keith Harrison who is currently producing a new commission for the Arts and Heritage Service.

Come and explore the talents of Plymouth’s young up-and-coming artists as they express their voices as part of the Council House Art (CHART) programme.

Now in its third year, CHART was established in 2013 to showcase the work of local artists and help raise the cultural profile of the city.

Further works by the students can also be seen at the historic Duke of Cornwall Hotel from 18 to 24 May.

The exhibition is currated by Kendall Francis, Sophie Headdon, Roxi Beville, Cara Green, Poppy Caulwell and Megan Heywood.
