Plymouth University are pleased to be hosting the ESRC Changing World Photographic Exhibition. 

This exhibition showcases the winning photographs from an Economic and Social Research Council competition that explored the way in which society has changed over the last 50 years. 

The exhibition opened in March in London and is touring various venues throughout the year.

ESRC Focus on Society photographic competition 2016

If you are aged 14-18, why not think about entering this year's competition? The ESRC are challenging you to take a picture that shows how you see society. Be creative by using photography to explore the relevance of social science to your life. 

  • How do you feel you fit in? 
  • What affects your daily life? 
  • What do you think of your ethnicity, religion, background or simply where you live?

Images should fall into one of the five categories.

  • Cradle to the grave
  • Green and pleasant land
  • From rags to riches
  • Variety is the spice of life
  • No place like home

The closing date for entries is 23:00 on 11 December 2015.
