Exploring Plymouth's Back Yard: The Tamar Valley

All aboard for a train ride on the Tamar Valley Line to Calstock with Clive Charlton, research fellow in Geography at Plymouth University, and member of the Friends of the Tamar Valley. 

The trip will explore the links between Plymouth and the Tamar Valley over the years, with commentary and conversation on the train and a guided walk of approximately 2 miles/2 hours at Calstock. 

Please book your place on the trip in advance and buy your own return rail ticket to Calstock at Plymouth Railway Station. (Return train options from Calstock at 13.56, 15.56pm – or later. Off Peak Adult Day return ticket price £5.60.)

£2 per person for the guided walk and talk / Booking essential via (01752) 304774. 

NB: Participants need to organise their own train tickets. 

Meet in the foyer of Plymouth Railway Station at 10.40am for the 10.54am train to Gunnislake.
