Fairtrade Fortnight – Sit down for breakfast, stand up for farmers! 29 February – 13 March

As Martin Luther King said, “Before you finish eating your breakfast in the morning, you’ve depended on more than half the world.” Despite our dependence on farmers and producers for food and drink, about 795 million people are undernourished globally. This Fairtrade Fortnight is all about a big breakfast!

Plymouth University has been an accredited Fairtrade university since 2009, and for Fairtrade Fortnight 2016 we want to promote supporting Fairtrade businesses and producers across the globe securing a fair price for produce, helping families in poverty gain food security.

Join in our events over Fairtrade Fortnight at the University and contribute towards making a change!
