Cultural theorist and philosopher Slavoj Žižek joins with director Sophie Fiennes (The Pervert’s Guide to Cinema) for an amusing and insightful exploration of how cinema and the media reinforce and expose prevailing ideologies.

Žižek uses a dazzlingly diverse range of films to make this argument, from John Carpenter’s They Live, to The Sound of Music via the UK riots in the summer of 2011 and James Cameron’s Titanic.
