The next Plymouth Athenaeum Autumn Lecture will be given by Dr Patrick Holden, Associate Professor in the School of Law, Criminology and Government at the University of Plymouth.

Patrick will present his lecture on 31 October, the night the UK is scheduled to leave the European Union.

Patrick's research focuses on European Union politics and international cooperation on trade and development. Widely published in academic journals, Patrick is also a frequent media contributor on Brexit topics. His work encompasses research and teaching in relation to international political economy, the European Union in the world, international development policy, global governance and regional integration. Patrick is the programme leader of the Masters in International Relations at the University.
