In this lecture from the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) (South West region), Dr Helen Doe shows how and why Whitehaven, Whitby, Fowey, King's Lynn and Exeter have changed and the social and economic impacts.

About the speaker

Dr Helen Doe is a lecturer, author and historian. She is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Exeter, where she gained her doctorate in maritime history. Visit her website for information about her research and publications.
