The School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences invites students to meet representatives from the geoscience private, public and voluntary sectors at this careers fair.

This annual event is sponsored by the Geological Society of London (South West Regional Group) and is attended by numerous companies, primarily in the engineering geology, geo-environmental and hydrocarbon fields. 

This event provides you with excellent opportunities to talk career options and employability values with industry representatives.

GeoCareers early evening talk: Big Data in the Geosciences: a primer for the new digital frontier

The Geocareers event ends with an industry key note talk that provides insight into the latest developments within the Earth Science industries.

The talk is co-sponsored by the University of Plymouth’s Sustainable Earth Institute and this year will be given by Gabriel Guerra (General Manager Exploration Digitalisation, Shell) and Dr Anne Kemp (Director and Fellow [BIM Strategy and Development], Atkins).
