For the next Global Book Club Meeting we’ll be turning homeward, with a look at Britain through Bill Bryson’s eyes.

Twenty years after Notes from a Small Island, Bill writes about another journey through his adopted homeland, travelling north from Bognor Regis to Cape Wrath. How has Britain changed in those 20 years? Can Bill match the humour and affection that made Notes from a Small Island such an instant hit?

Join us to discuss this long-awaited sequel. If you don’t have time to read it in full a summary will be available.

The event is free to attend - no booking required.
