Students from Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry are holding their annual health clinic for members of the public and University staff/students to attend and also to raise money for Children in Need.
You are invited to get your health checked by:
- Heart function (ECG)
- Lung capacity (spirometry)
- Blood pressure
- BMI and body fat measurements
alongside demonstrations of how to remediate choking and fun with teeth.
The session is provided by University Healthcare Science Practitioners in training, Nutrition, Exercise and Health students, and Medical and Dentistry trainees who are supervised by NHS professionals and appropriately qualified personnel to enable the public to get a health ‘MOT’.
A Pudsey raffle, tea/coffee, cake and bun sale will help raise funds for the BBC's Children in Need.
