  • Preparing to publish for the first time?
  • Looking to improve the profile of your research outputs?
  • Confused about impact factors, open access, ORCiD?

This iSPER workshop will explore how to get your research published and to maximise your own and your research’s profile and standing within the academic community.

It will feature a presentation and opportunities for questions with Mark Robinson, Communications Manager at Taylor & Francis Group, a major social science publisher. Mark will provide the perspective on what publishers are looking for in academic publications and how academics can target key journals.

Abigail Heath, Information Specialist from the University Library, will be also speaking and answering questions on such issues as open access publication, ORCiD and relevant research metrics.

The workshop is open to Plymouth University staff and research students only. It will be particularly useful for Early Career Researchers and PhD Students.

Refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits) will be provided.

Registration is required for this workshop so if you would like to attend the event please email by Thursday 22nd June:
